Latest Cake

This is a cake that I did for my Sorority line's 10th birthday.  Our actual birthday is November 18th, but we celebrated it during Homecoming.  It was good to get together with my line sisters.  We said that we would make it a point to do it more often.  The cake is strawberry cake with cream cheese filling.  I don't plan to do too many cakes while pregnant, but I made a special exception for my girls.  Stay tuned for more pictures from this past weekend.

Here is a cake that I did for my line sister, Tasha's, 30th birthday party.  The top tier is strawberry and the bottom tier is white almond sour cream.  It's covered in buttercream and mmf accents.

This is my first attempt at a loop bow.  It turned out pretty good if I do say so myself.  The cake is yellow cake with buttercream icing and fondant accents.  Thanks for looking!!!!!

Happy Birthday Carrigan!!!!!!

Carrigan turned the Big 3, and what better way to celebrate than with Dora and Friends.  Cara had lots of fun swimming with her family and friends and jumping in the little jumping thinga my jig (yall know what I mean...lol)  It's amazing how she has grown and matured.  With each year, I can see her growing up more and more.  She is so smart!  Happy Birthday Cara, and may you have many, many more!

Latest Cakes

This is a White Almond Sour Cream cake with buttercream filling.  It was done for a co-worker/friend turning 30.

The is a White Almond Sour Cream cake covered in buttercream with marshmallow fondant accents.  This is my first time carving a cake into a certain size.  It's for my former co-worker's granddaughter who is having her 3rd birthday party tomorrow.

Casino Royale....

Here is a casino themed cake that I did for a really good friend of mine.  It is white cake with cream cheese filling.  I can say I learned from doing this cake.  It turned out ok, but my friend liked it so that is what matters the most.  Thanks for looking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's Beiber Fever!

Today was Emoni's birthday party at a local dance studio.  She, like just about every other young girl, is a big Justin Beiber fan.  That of course explains the theme for the party. Any who, all the kids got to try on different dance costumes and even performed a dance they learned while there.  They all had a blast!!!!!!!!!!

This is a rodeo theme cake for a baby shower.  The baby's name is Brock (as you can see).  The top tier is strawberry with cream cheese filling, and the bottom tier is lemon cake with buttercream filling.  Marshmallow fondant accents.

Here is a Hello Kitty cake that I did for a wonderful little girl turning 5.  The first tier is lemon cake with cinnamon cream cheese filling, and the bottom tier is strawberry cake with cream cheese filling.  All covered in marshmallow fondant.

Baby Shower Stuff

I made this cake for my sorority sister/friend's baby shower.  This was my first time making the baby converse shoes that I have been wanting to make for like forever.  I also made the diaper cake for her.  The baby shower turned out well.  Can't wait to see Baby Laylon when he arrives!

This is a cake that I did for a co-worker's 12 year old daughter.  This cake was inspired by her obsession with the Jonas Brothers and all of the teenage music that's out there. 

I did this cake for another co-worker.  Her son is a basketball, soccer, football, and baseball player.  This cake is for a surprise sports themed party today.  The top and bottom tiers are chocolate with cookies n cream filling and the second tier is WASC cake with buttercream filling.  Thanks for looking!!!!!

Here is my latest cake.  It was a Toy Story theme.  The top tier is chocolate, and the bottom tier is vanilla cake.  The accents are marshmallow fondant.  I could be critical, but I will take the approach that I learned a lot from this cake.  Thanks for looking!
