Wendy's "yummy in my tummy" chili is a perfect lunch on a cold day like today. Scott put me on the hot chili seasoning, and it just takes it to a whole new level.

Just taking a lil stroll
Yesterday, it warmed up a little bit outside, so we went for a little stroll in the neighborhood. Kendall just loved being pushed around. When the wind would blow, she would just flutter her eyes. It was super cute! I can tell that she will definitely love being outside. I can't wait for summer when there will be more activities for us to do outside. I'm sure she will enjoy every minute. Here are some pics.

Kendall feeding herself vs Kendall playing with her food
Miss Kendall gets to feed herself sometimes, so she can feel the texture of the food. Plus, she is such an independent child that she would rather feed herself anyhow. Tonight she ate jambalaya and apple juice. As you can see, a lot of it was on Kendall rather than in her mouth. That's my baby girl!!!

My Style
Camel colored sweater, black skinny jeans, and brown riding boots.
I had been wanting to do the whole brown and black look, and I must say that I liked the look. Oh yeah, I wore this when Scott and I went to the movies to see Django. Good movie!
Happy New Year....
Happy New Year!!!!!!! I know that 2013 will be a great year. I already feel so good about it. It's so funny how we wait until the year starts over each year to make these promises to ourselves when we actually could start at any time. I think it's just the feeling of being able to say, "ever since 2013, I started/stopped doing ....... When I was in junior high and high school, I would make 10 resolutions every year, and not read them again until New Year's Eve at the end of the year. Scott and I made 10 resolutions each. Here are mine below:
- Read the bible and pray daily and attend church most Sundays unless there is a valid reason to miss.
- Keep the house clean by cleaning something every day. Everything has a place.
- Devote more time to my physical appearance by wearing make-up, buying myself clothes/shoes, etc. Since having Kendall, I have had more days than I normally would where I just don't put my full effort into my appearance. Every time I went shopping, I would always end up buying Kendall something instead of for myself. I am making it a point to not neglect myself while still keeping Kendall stylish...lol
- Calling my family and friends more
- Getting my Certified Procedural Certification (CPC). This is a requirement of my job
- Reading to Kendall daily as well as making every moment a teaching moment for her
- Being a good role model for Kendall at all times. If I don't want her doing it, I shouldn't either.
- Decrease and work to eliminate my attitude and sarcasm to others
- Minimize procrastination
- Keep the romance in my marriage. We plan to spend more time together just me and the hubby. Got to keep the marriage FRESH!!!!!!

Emoni all ready to open her gift
The girls posing with their ripstik caster boards, which are similar to skateboards but you kind of do a wiggle motion to move on them. Can't wait to see the girls on them!!!
The girls are all smiles!!!!!!!
Christmas Decor'
I just love decorating for Christmas. I usually like to put up my decorations the day after Halloween, but that was quite hard with a one year demanding my full attention. Any who, I added a Christmas tree in Kendall's room to the mix. My thoughts are when she makes different Christmas decorations at school, we can put them on her tree. I can't wait. Here is our tree, front door decorations, and Kendall's tree.

12 Months....I'm 1 years old, Baby!
Age: 12 Months (November 27th)
Weight: 17lbs 10z (as of her last doctor's appt)
Height: 26.25 in (her height tends to vary depending on the nurse that measures her)
Diaper Size: Size 2, but she is about to move up to size 3 here real soon
Clothing: 12 months.....she can wear 12-18 months in shirts, but 9-12 months in bottoms
Shoes: She is officially wearing shoes all the time now. She is in size 3 shoes. She wore some pink converse to her birthday party, and they were so cute on her. We recently got her some white Keds, and she keeps those on well too.
Milestones: Kendall can pull up and stand. She does this on anything sturdy....coffee table, our legs, chairs, etc. She is totally off of the paci. No paci made it hard for her to sleep through the night at first, but she is doing a lot better now. We have started transitioning her from the bottle to the sippy cup. She drinks water and juice out of the sippy cup better than she does milk. She can wave bye-bye by waving her hand from side to side instead of the traditional baby wave where you open and close your hands. Da-da is her favorite word, and Stop is her second favorite.
Likes: Spaghetti Os, chocolate cake, all sweets, being held, sleeping on pillows, sleeping on her back, standing up and playing with toys that are her height, playing with both mommy and daddy, grabbing our lips on our face, being pushed in her toy car, and crawling
Dislikes: Being put in her car seat, us leaving the room even for a second, the dark, and lying on her back to get her diaper changed

Happy Birthday Kendall
Kendall turned the Big 1 on November 27th. We sang Happy Birthday to her before school, and she was all smiles. I just can't believe that my baby is 1...tear (smile). After work and school, we all went to GiGi's cupcakes, so she could enjoy some cake. She got the "Birthday Surprise" cupcake, which is white cake with pink icing and sprinkles. She ended up liking Scott's chocolate turtle cupcake the best. I guess she's a chocolate cake lover.
Kendall's birthday was at Parkway Place church. It was a Sweet Shoppe theme. The colors were pink, green, and turquoise. The sweets at Kendall's Sweet Shoppe included sugar cookies decorated like lollipops, rice krispy treats, chocolate covered marshmallow pops, chocolate covered pretzels, cake pops, jolly ranchers, twizzlers, strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla cupcakes, and chocolate cake. Whew!!!!! If you had a sweet tooth, Kendall's Sweet Shoppe was the place to be. The giftbags included an eraser, silly straw, and small toothbrush to keep your teeth nice and healthy. Each bag was filled with all the sweets from the sweet shoppe. The kids table were decorated with lollipops centerpieces that I made from styrofoam circles covered in tissue paper and cellophane paper. Kendall wore an onesie that had a pink number "1" on it with a lollipop and her name on it. It was accessorized with pink leggings, a pink and green tutu, and pink converse. It all turned out great!
