Happy New Year....

Happy New Year!!!!!!!  I know that 2013 will be a great year.  I already feel so good about it.  It's so funny how we wait until the year starts over each year to make these promises to ourselves when we actually could start at any time.  I think it's just the feeling of being able to say, "ever since 2013, I started/stopped doing .......  When I was in junior high and high school, I would make 10 resolutions every year, and not read them again until New Year's Eve at the end of the year.  Scott and I made 10 resolutions each.  Here are mine below:

  1. Read the bible and pray daily and attend church most Sundays unless there is a valid reason to miss.
  2. Keep the house clean by cleaning something every day.  Everything has a place.
  3. Devote more time to my physical appearance by wearing make-up, buying myself clothes/shoes, etc.  Since having Kendall, I have had more days than I normally would where I just don't put my full effort into my appearance.  Every time I went shopping, I would always end up buying Kendall something instead of for myself.  I am making it a point to not neglect myself while still keeping Kendall stylish...lol
  4. Calling my family and friends more
  5. Getting my Certified Procedural Certification (CPC).  This is a requirement of my job
  6.  Reading to Kendall daily as well as making every moment a teaching moment for her
  7. Being a good role model for Kendall at all times.  If I don't want her doing it, I shouldn't either.
  8. Decrease and work to eliminate my attitude and sarcasm to others
  9. Minimize procrastination
  10. Keep the romance in my marriage.  We plan to spend more time together just me and the hubby.  Got to keep the marriage FRESH!!!!!!
All in all, I will strive to accomplish all of these resolutions.  I may or may not be able to do it, but I sure will have a great 2013 trying.
