Date: February 20th
Nicknames: Dyl Dyl, Dyl Man, Big Man, Big Boy, Dylanator, Baby Boy, Chillin' Dylan, Pickle, Pick, Pickle Juice, Pickle Meister, etc
Weight: 18lbs 9oz
Height: n/a
Diaper Size: Size 3
Clothing: 9-12 months
Feedings: 7oz every three hours. Dylan is also taking a rice bottle at night and in the mornings. Dylan is officially eating baby food and two containers at a time. He still likes sweet potatoes(his favorite), carrots, squash, apples, bananas, and all the fruit medlies. He still doesn't like green beans that much, but he will eat sweet peas. I made some greens beans (table food), and he liked those. I officially stopped pumping on February 13th, so Dylan has been drinking frozen milk. He doesn't like to take rice bottle too often in the mornings now, but would rather have it from bowl. His daycare teachers say he is a greedy lil something that will cry for rice cereal in the mornings. He also loves Popeye's potatoes and gravy. He ate his dad's whole side of potatoes one day (lol). Needless to say, we won't have to worry about this one being a good eater.
Milestones: Dylan pulls up and stands up on chairs, tables, people, and just whatever. He takes steps around the table, and even tries to take one hand off the table and walk. He thinks he can do a lot more than what he can do right now. With him looking at his sister every day as well as the other kids in his class, we look for him to walk soon. Oh one more thing.....he doesn't drool all over the place anymore. We use to always keep bibs on him just to keep his clothes from being wet, but now we don't have to. Still no teeth, but we are definitely anticipating them soon
Likes: Baby Food, Gerber Puffs, putting anything in his mouth to chew on, standing up, playing with his big sister, watching Kendall laugh because it makes him laugh, and just being a fun-loving little boy
Dislikes: Getting his diaper changed on the changing table, getting lotion put on him, and being left alone. Dylan has also started crying in the mornings when I drop him off. I've read that around 9 or 10 months, babies go through separation anxiety. Ms. Jessica usually has to hold him and distract them so I can leave. Needless to say, he is very clingy now and just pro mommy a lot of the times. I love it, so I'm not complaining.
Here are some random pics of My Dylan. As you can see, he is quite the busy body.
