My new found obsession is makeup preferably lipsticks. It all started with wanting to find a good
nude lipstick to wear during the spring.
The newest trend are lipsticks that are the color of your natural lips
but with a little gloss on top. I have
experimented with a few, and plan to try just a couple of more, but nude
lips go with any outfit and is a great everyday color for your lips.
Next, I wanted a plum lipstick. Not too plum, but enough color for you to
tell that my lips were plum. I like this
color when I wear colors like grey, white, or black because it brings just a
little color to the entire outfit. Then of course, I had to find a cute pink color for the spring. On days that I’m not feeling too upbeat, I can throw on some pink lipstick and perk up my look even if I’m not feeling the perkiest.
I see so many models and celebrities who wear all shades of
lipsticks, and it makes me think, “Hey, I can do that too!” I have built up a little collection, and I
don’t always get the expensive lipstick either.
Drugstore brands like Revlon truly have good quality lipstick that
moisturize your lips and stays on for a few hours. The key thing to remember when shopping for
lipsticks is to get shades that compliment your skin tone. Just because Halle Berry wore it, doesn’t mean
that you can. You have to get what fits
your skin tone and your look. There are
thousands of shades out there, so you just have to find with what works for you. Have a little fun experimenting! It’s what being a girl is all about.
