I'm 1 year old!

Date:  May 20th

Nicknames:  Dyl Dyl, Dyl, Dyl Pickle Scott, Pick, Dyls, Big Boy, and Pickles

Weight:  21lbs 6oz

Height:  31.5in

Head:  n/a

Diaper Size:  Size 3

Clothing:  12 months or 12-18 month clothes and size 5 shoes

Feedings:  Dylan is a really good eater.  He is on cow milk officially.  I would say Dylan drinks on average at least 30oz of milk a day.  Dylan drinks cold milk during the day, but still demands that it's warm before he goes to sleep at night.  He also drinks from a sippy cup during the day, and takes a bottle at night.  He eats from the cafeteria at school, so he eats a number of foods.  He loves hamburgers, spaghetti, corn, green beans, pasta, and the list goes on and on.  I also still loves Gerber puffs and crunchies.  He likes to feed himself with his hands, so he is turning into quite the big boy and doesn't like us to feed him too much.  We still feed him with messier foods like baked beans and yogurt.

Milestones:  Dylan is officially walking.  He is so independent.  He wants to walk everywhere even on concrete and up and down steps, which we have to watch him carefully because he isn't as good of a walker as he thinks he is....lol  He feeds himself with his hands.  He also got his first haircut.  The Dylan-Fro is no more.  His look has really changed to me.  Still the cutest lil boy ever just with a different look.

Likes:  Dylan LOVES running water and just water period.  He likes to hold his hands under running water in the bath tub.  He loves food and walking.  He loves to see his sister laugh because it makes him laugh.  Kendall and Dylan play with each other a lot more now.  They like to fall in the pillows in our bedroom and roll over them and on the floor.

Dislikes:  Dylan doesn't like sitting in his high chair or car seat for long period of time.  He doesn't like getting his diaper changed.  That's all I can think of right now.

This year has flown by sooooooooo fast.  I remember when Dylan was just a little baby, and now he is walking around.  He is such a fun-loving little boy.  I think he is so independent and easy-going.  Just the perfect son.  I thank God for this blessing.  God blessed us with the most perfect son, our baby boy, Dylan Scott Dismute.

Dylan is 1

Dylan's first birthday party was a success.  He was a little under the weather, but he still enjoyed himself.  I really like that so many people participated and dressed up as their favorite superhero.  It was a festive time.

Sunday Best-The Family Edition

We all decided to color coordinate today for church.  Pink was the primary color with Kendall and I adding green and the men adding blue.  Our bold colors got us noticed at church and attracted a few compliments.  I think the kiddos cute faces mainly attracted the nice comments.  Got to love those cute faces!

Below are some of our blooper attempts at trying to get a good family shot while working with two young children.  The joys of parenthood....lol. The first picture is one that Dylan turned his head just as the camera was about to take the picture.  That's my Dyl Pickle.

Dylan just loves playing with mommy's hair.  Lol

I still don't know how I get my camera to make the pictures run together like the one below, but I just added it to this post for good measure.
