Welcome Cayden Jace
Some of our good friends just welcomed their first child, Mr. Cayden Jace. He came to us a lil early at almost 32 weeks. The biggest blessing in all of this is he is doing so well, and we are able to offer our NICU experience to help the new parents along. I must say that he is a cute lil something looking just like his daddy. Tevia's baby shower was Saturday. Below is part of our gift to Cory and Tevia and some marshmallow baby rattle pops. The framed description of Cayden's birth is an idea that I got from Pinterest. It made Tevia smile, so I was glad. The marshmallow pops were used a favors for the guest at the shower.
We are so happy and excited about this new addition to our extended family. We are already planning play dates for our boys in future. We only see good times ahead!
Painting with my Girls
Friday night, all of us girls went to Pinot's Palette. This is a outing where everyone in the class learns how to paint the same picture while socializing, eating, and drinking if you like. We had a good time. My only complaint is that the class is for 3 hours, but my attention span was for about 2 hours. I still had a good time and got some good laughs. Below are pictures of all of us, me in action, and my picture in its different phases.
Bella turns 2!
Kendall was invited to her first birthday from one of her friends from her class. She had a blast. She was slow to get warmed up, but once she saw some of her girlfriends, she was ready to play. Bella turned 2 with a Doc McStuffins themed party. Both Bella and Kendall were born early, so they have progressed on a similar pace at daycare. Some of Kendall's other friends Fehren and Parker were there as well. This Foursome are a tough group of girls. They all had a great time!

It's Official.....It's a BOY!!!!!!!
Just in case you didn't catch the hint on the New Year's Day post, I'm pregnant. The second round of good news is that it's a boy. We couldn't be more excited that we get to experience both a daughter and a son. Kendall has started referring to my belly as, "baby." Soooo cute! She has even kissed him goodnight a few times.
We went to Baby Views to get the first ultrasound pictures and to find out if we were having a boy or a girl. The look on Scott's face when the sonographer said we were having a boy was priceless. Baby Boy was turning flips and doing back bends. He is definitely an active boy.
Below are some ultrasound pictures of our baby boy. I must say he is the most handsome baby boy I've ever seen.

Finally.....I'm CPC certified
I am sooooo proud of myself. I had a job requirement of having to be a certified professional coder. Basically, it's a certification of having to review operative reports, medical records, progress notes, and etc and determining the proper procedure to bill to insurance companies. Needless to say, it wasn't the easiest thing that I have ever done in my life, but as you can see above, it was something that was achievable. What I learned during this process of studying and passing this test is that I have to trust my self and more importantly trust God. I think sometimes I get so caught up in other people saying something is hard that I listen more to what man says rather than what God says. God says we can do all things. God says don't worry. I am going to take this experience with me in my life going forward and listen to God and not the words of man.
Thank you God for allowing me to pass this test and gain this certification. We did it!!!!
Merry Christmas 2013
Christmas was great as usual this year. We were all in Warren, and Kendall had a good time. Below are some pictures of Kendall in her Christmas Eve pajamas. Too bad she had a little accident and had to change. Luckily, we got some pictures beforehand.

Kendall is Two!!!!!!!
Kendall turned 2 on November 27th. Her party was on Sunday, November 24th at 1:00. The party was at The Little Gym, and the theme was Minnie Mouse. I must say that Miss Kendall had a good time. She got to play in the gym with some of her friends and cousins. All in all, it was a good birthday for her. I look at her, and I just can't believe that she is 2 years old. I guess now when I'm asked how old she is, I don't have to say her age in months anymore. That will be really nice. Kendall is so amazing. Happy Birthday, TuTu, and enjoy your Terrific Twos!!!!!!!
Below are the decorations from the party. The cake table has vanilla butter cake decorated by my friend, Brandi, in the Minnie Mouse theme. There are also fruit cups, Oreo pops, and bottled water. Oh, there were also chocolate and vanilla cupcakes made by Me. The kids table is decorated with pink tablecloths, with pink and black plates. For the centerpieces, there were white topiaries in black bases covered with pink shredded paper. Each place setting had a Minnie or Mickey Mouse headpiece for the kids to wear. The favor bags were decorated like Mickey Mouse for the boys and Minnie Mouse for the girls. Each bag included bubbles, colors, Minnie Mouse tattoos, the headpieces that were on the kids table, Oreo pops, and bottled water.
