Kendall is Two!!!!!!!

Kendall turned 2 on November 27th.  Her party was on Sunday, November 24th at 1:00.  The party was at The Little Gym, and the theme was Minnie Mouse.  I must say that Miss Kendall had a good time.  She got to play in the gym with some of her friends and cousins.  All in all, it was a good birthday for her.  I look at her, and I just can't believe that she is 2 years old.  I guess now when I'm asked how old she is, I don't have to say her age in months anymore.  That will be really nice.  Kendall is so amazing.  Happy Birthday, TuTu, and enjoy your Terrific Twos!!!!!!!

Below are the decorations from the party.  The cake table has vanilla butter cake decorated by my friend, Brandi, in the Minnie Mouse theme.  There are also fruit cups, Oreo pops, and bottled water.  Oh, there were also chocolate and vanilla cupcakes made by Me.  The kids table is decorated with pink tablecloths, with pink and black plates.  For the centerpieces, there were white topiaries in black bases covered with pink shredded paper.  Each place setting had a Minnie or Mickey Mouse headpiece for the kids to wear.  The favor bags were decorated like Mickey Mouse for the boys and Minnie Mouse for the girls.  Each bag included bubbles, colors, Minnie Mouse tattoos, the headpieces that were on the kids table, Oreo pops, and bottled water.

Just a Thought

So True!!!!!!!!

Ff is for Flower-Halloween Edition

This is Kendall's Halloween costume.  She was so cute on Halloween.  I mean, the cutest lil flower I've ever seen.  Kendall did pretty good with keeping it on, but the time came when she had had enough.  She looked up at me with those pretty brown eyes and said, "Off!" (lol)  Kendall is still a little shy with going to doors and saying Trick or Treat, but hopefully next year she will come around.  Below are a few more pictures of Kendall in her costume.

Sunday's Best

This is Kendall in a black and white polka dot dress accented with white ruffle socks and black slip-on shoes with a flower embellishment.  The outfit is topped off with a white bow in her hair.

Pastor Pointer preached from Exodus 1.  The sermon was titled "I Can't Stop Growing."  My favorite line that Pastor Pointer said is that people see your fruit, but they don't see your seeds.  Basically, people see you in good health, good job, nice house, nice car, kids making good grades, being in a happy and faithful marriage, having good friendships, etc but they don't see you exercising, working hard at work, helping your kids with homework, praying for your marriage and relationships, reading and studying your bible, fasting, etc.  Pastor preached today!  My soul was definitely fed!!!!!!!!!!

Swing Baby Swing

Lil Miss Kendall recently got her latest toy and needless to say....She Loves It!  Scott put Kendall's swing together, and she has been on it ever since.  She loves to say WEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeee and Whooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaa!  One day she was swinging, and actually started dozing off.  I guess she just got too relaxed.  Any who, here are some pictures of Kendall enjoying her new swing.

A Day at Funland

This past weekend, Kendall and I went to Funland at Burns Park.  I wish I would have known about this place earlier because I would have taken Kenni earlier this summer.  Any who, Kendall had a blast.  It was only 1000 degrees, but Kendall didn't let that affect her fun.  We will definitely be taking Kendall to Funland in the upcoming summers to come.  Here are some pics of my serious looking baby girl (lol).

Celebrating 5 years of marriage!

Can you believe that its been 5 years?  I sure can't.  August 2nd was the big day (I'm a little late on posting).1  It seems just like yesterday we were dating.  Now, we have went from the 2 of us to the 3 of us.  I absolutely love our marriage.  It truly is easy to be married to your best friend.  We joke around and act goofy so much.  The Dr. Seuss quote above truly does explain us.  I really feel blessed to have this man as my husband.  I'm excited about all the years to come.

Project ABC...Ss

z

This is my latest project.  I have seen this on some other blogs and have always wanted to try it myself.  Basically, I plan to take different pictures of Kendall, and each picture will correlate with a letter of the alphabet.  I would like to go in order of the alphabet, but with Kendall being such an active child, I will have to just jump around the alphabet until I get through all 26 letters.  I will call this Project ABC.  I also want to practice some photography tricks too, so this will give me that chance.

I took this first picture of Scott and Kendall when we were all swimming in the backyard.  I love Kendall's facial expression and how the water looks splashing on them.

Look forward to Project ABC.....I'm sooooo excited about this.  Stay Tuned!!!!!!

Sunday's Best

Here are some pictures of Kendall from two Sundays ago before church.  She was the big 18 months.  She is about 21lbs and 29 inches long.  She walking fast, climbing, investigating every closet and drawer, eating more different foods, loves Dora the Explorer, and taking walks in the neighborhood.  It's amazing how fast she is growing.  Time really does fly.
